2,300 years ago, Alexander the great conquered the known world.

By the time he died at 32, he had grown his empire from 20,000 square miles to over 2,000,000 square miles.

People still speculate about what made him so wildly successful.

Now, I’m not an expert.

But I know something about Alexander’s life. And I’ll be you it played a huge role in making him so successful.

When Alexander was a child, his father hired the smartest man in the world to come tutor his son.

He hired Aristotle—who to this day is known as one of history’s greatest minds.

So one of the world’s greatest leaders… was mentored by one of the world’s greatest thinkers.

Probably not a coincidence.

And that’s often how it goes: great people have great mentors.

If you want to be great… go find someone who is already great. And go learn from them.

…easier said than done.

Lots of people have heard the mentor message before: “make sure you’re always being mentored!” “go find someone you really admire, and have them mentor you.” That’s all fine and dandy. But HOW do you find a good mentor?
