GUMPTION – a good sense, resourcefulness, savvy, get-up-and-go, wisdom.

It means guts, give best effort, willing to take risk.

We all admire a person of gumption.

Because they stand up when others are not standing.

They walk when others are standing still.

They cross the line as far as action when others want to sit in the stands.

Gumption! a good word.

It just means you and I have guts and courage to do the right thing regardless of what others say or seek.

We need more people with more gumption.
